Value Place West Valley City, Utah is conveniently located just 10 minutes southwest of downtown Salt Lake City and 30 minutes from major ski resorts such as the Brighton, Snowbird and the Canyons. Salt Lake City offers something for everyone- skiing, shopping, recreation and more, including lots of fun for the whole family.


Salt Lake City was the host of the 2002 Winter Olympics so there are a lot of sights to see including the luge oval, bobsled, speed skating, downhill skiing. Utah also has some of the best hiking and biking trails for the summer months.


Salt Lake City is just 30 minutes south of Layton, Utah where Hill Air force Base is located.  Spend a weekend with your family and come see all the military aircraft in the museum. You might get lucky and be able to see the arial planes practice right above your head! The Great Salt Lake offers a visitor’s center with the history of the Great Salt Lake, as well as a museum that offers Utah’s history. Take a paddle out and see the Lake!


The University of Utah is one of the top colleges in the country for Medical education. We also have Community Colleges throughout the entire valley, which work closely with public transportation. Huntsman Cancer Institute is a highly reputable medical center treating cancer patients from around the world.


Brigham Young and the Mormons founded Salt Lake City, Utah. Some great attractions to see while you are here are the Lion house where Brigham Young lived, Temple Square were the Salt Lake City temple sits, and the Joseph Smith House.

    Check-in starts at 3 p.m. on your scheduled arrival date. To check in after hours, dial 500 from the lobby phone upon arrival.

  • Check-Out

    Fill out and return a check-out notice 24 hours prior to your departure. Check-out time is before 11 a.m. daily.

Reservation Policies

  • A $100 deposit is required upon check-in and is refundable after room inspection.
  • Canceling your reservation after 3 p.m. (local time) on day of arrival may result in a cancellation fee.
  • Office hours vary by location.
  • Value Place accepts cash or major credit cards for reservations and payments. Checks are not accepted.
  • Pets are not allowed with the exception of service animals.
  • Children age 17 and younger stay free and must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • Additional Value Place guests, ages 18 and older, are charged $10 per week room occupancy
  • Rates subject to change without notice.
