About This Location

Macon is a unique city where culture, commerce and community flourish.  Situated in the Heart of Georgia at the intersection of I-75 and Bass Rd., Macon offers convenient access to the entire world through Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and the port cities of Savannah, Brunswick, Charleston, and Jacksonville.  Macon has much to offer business and industry, with its strategic location and small town attributes with the amenities of a larger city.

Macon’s attractions are many and varied, sure to delight a visitor no matter what their interest. Macon is home to 5,500 National Register historic structures in 11 historic districts, the largest group of historic districts of any city in Georgia. Macon attractions also feature rich and diverse cultures from 10,000 year-old Paleo-Indian mounds and the largest collection of ancient African artifacts, to the Top 40 songs of Little Richard and REM (at the Georgia Music Hall of Fame), and the 3,000 hits of Hank Aaron's bat (at the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame).

Macon has many fine restaurants to choose from.  It boasts more than 300 restaurants for patrons or out-of-town guests to enjoy.  Macon is also home to the Macon Centreplex (or Coliseum), Grand Opera House, City Auditorium, and the Macon Conference Center.  The Macon economy produces everything from airplanes (Boeing) to zippers (YKK USA) and processes everything from lease payments (IKON) to insurance applications (GEICO). The workforce includes highly skilled technical workers, skilled software designers, friendly customer service specialists, efficient manufacturing workers and warehouse employees.  Industry Week magazine rated Macon’s workforce as the 23rd most productive in the nation.  Whether you’re working, vacationing or just passing through, Value Place Macon West is the place to stay!

Features and Add-Ons

Goodbye traditional hotel pricing, hello options.

At Value Place, you’ll find everything you need – like full-size appliances in a modified kitchen, your preferred furniture configuration, and bi-weekly cleaning – included in your room rate. We also offer guests what they might want – on-site, coin- or refillable card-operated laundry and vending, additional housekeeping and linen service, starter dish packs, coffeemakers and, at most properties, Internet – available at fair, additional costs. We price these options separately to prevent guests from having to pay for “fluff” they might not want or use and to help us keep our room rates low.

You can select the things you want to add to your stay now or do them once you arrive at the property.
