Alabama State Capitol is where Jefferson Davis took the oath of office of President of the Confederate States of America and where the Selma to Montgomery Civil Rights March ended with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivering a moving a moving speech from the bottom of it’s steps.

 

If you love the outdoors, explore Lake Martin, home of the annual Bassmasters fishing classic. For golfers,  Robert Trent Jones has 18 holes of professional golf only 10 minutes away, and Lagoon Park golf course has been listed as one of the 100 best public courses in America. Reservation Policies

  • A $100 deposit is required upon check-in and is refundable after room inspection.
  • Canceling your reservation after 3 p.m. (local time) on day of arrival may result in a cancellation fee.
  • Office hours vary by location.
  • Value Place accepts cash or major credit cards for reservations and payments. Checks are not accepted.
  • Pets are not allowed with the exception of service animals.
  • Children age 17 and younger stay free and must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • Additional Value Place guests, ages 18 and older, are charged $10 per week room occupancy
  • Rates subject to change without notice.
