    “Excellent Employee Thomas Fristoe. I am an Federal Contract Employee with Lockheed Martin at Albuquerque AFSS. Mr Fristoe totally went beyond his duties...The Internet was down on 7-20-08 and he tried everything he knew to get the system working . It didn't get fix until the next day..I had a Federal Project to complete that day and he reassured me he would make that happen..He let me use his USB modem to complete the project..If it had not been for him going over and beyond his duties, the Federal project wouldn't be complete and it would have cost the company some money for the incompletion..Thank you for employing such an outstanding employee..I would recommend him to my company but he is devoted to Value Place...In which his value is deeply appreciated..Thank you Very Much Lucretia Britt”

    “For the 20 years that I have traveled for my career, I have never written a testimonial of my stay,(goodness knows I have stayed in some places.) With that being said I felt really compelled to let you know of the BEST place I have stayed. First, this facility is very very clean. The staff and facility has been awarded with their cleanliness, and their security. The staff will greet you every day by your name, instead of just a hello, you feel like family. The staff went above and beyond their duties to make sure your stay is a memorable,pleasant, and very comfortable. This facility is a key card entrance throughout the entire unit. The security is excellent. The grounds are always clean and well groomed.  The rooms are spacious, very clean, and all ammities are in working order. The Internet is fast and easy to operate. If you forget your dishes for the kitchenette area they have a kitchen box for up to four settings available for a quick purchase. If my job were to ever take me back to the Jacksonville, Florida I will definitely go back to Value Place. Now that I am aware of such a good chain I have added them in my favorites to use when traveling elsewhere. To the entire staff at the Jacksonville, Florida site my hat goes off to you.     “My wife and I have been patronizing Value Place Hotels in Lincoln, NE and Kansas City, MO for several years and have always been extremely satisfied with all aspects of your service/facilities.  This time, however, we spent 2 weeks at the Lincoln, NE property and the experience could best be described as  "FANTASTIC" !!  Ray, the Manager, Mark, at the front desk, and especially that wonderful ubiquitous young lady, Anna, were the epitome of customer service.  Anna who seems to work day and night, was not only extremely helpful, but possesses a personality guaranteed to impress even the most "Grumpy" and "Never Satisfied" guest.  She even went so far as to assist me by shoveling a path to my vehicle thru the snow so that in spite of an injury, I would be able to more easily load prior to departure. Also, I inadvertently left a small item in my room and Ray has taken the steps necessary to insure that it will be sent to me.  What wonderful people!!  What a wonderful service you provide!!  You all are "THE TOPS" !!!!”

    “I'm a resident of Ohio working in South Carolina as an aerospace designer. Since November of 09 I've been a customer of Value Place Duncan S.C. I'm writing this testimonial because I think it's necessary to express my appreciation for the service I've been enjoying and the unprecedented treatment. This began before I checked in. The evening I was scheduled to arrive at Value Place Duncan, I called for directions and was greeted by a friendly helpful voice whom I learned later was Leah, the property manager. I instantly felt welcomed because of her kind help over the phone. She was  genuinely friendly and professional. When I decided to stop for dinner my phone rang. It was Leah. She wanted to make sure I hadn't become lost with the directions she gave me. Can you imagine? Who does that? This one instance is the first of many examples of what my stay at Value Place Duncan has been like. When so many other choices for lodging exist, Value Place does not underestimate the importance of incredibly nice staff and friendly courteous treatment.     “I switched to ValuePlace after seeing their amazing price flashing on their sign as I traveled I-10.  I was skeptical, but the price was considerably less than the place I was staying.  I toured the hotel before making my reservation and found the staff to be very proud of their building and the guests who stay there.  The place was brand new, and quite clean.  I checked in and after the 1st night I was sold.  It was a great value AND a great place to stay.  It provides me with the basics that I need when I am on the road without paying an arm and a leg for things I never end up using.  I'll stay again.”

    I am typing this review from the Ocala, Florida Value Place where life is good. This is the 3rd Value Place I have stayed at this year (2009). The prior reviewer stated something so true..this extended stay hotel is based on a "great concept". Which to me boils down to -"Affordability and comfort w/o sacrificing the essentials".- (my words) I have stayed at VP's in Ogden, Utah (West Haven), Tallahassee, Florida and now here in Ocala, Florida (Silver Springs) The affordability of the entire Value Place chain allows me to travel the country and experience more of life and always know my next VP stay will be great. As far as this VP in Ocala, Florida goes it is consistent with the chain-wide value and comfort levels. The staff here in Ocala however is the friendliest and kindest yet of the 3 VP's I already mentioned. The staffs at all 3 VP's I have stayed at have been exceedingly acceptable but here in Ocala it seems they strive for a cut above 'acceptable' and it shows. Property mgr. Larry along with his staff of Melissa, Walter, Amber and both 'Amandas" are respectful, friendly and courteous. They sure do belong in the hospitality industry! The best thing I like about Value Place anywhere is that even on fixed income I can tour the USA , always have safe, clean, comfortable lodging and that allows me to enjoy my retirement years to the max...yup life is good at Value Place!

    “I am a scheduling manager for a large concrete finishing company based out of Greensboro, N.C.  We have been guests at the Bragg Blvd location for the past several weeks. I just wanted to comment that the stay was wonderful. Exceptionally clean, very reasonably priced and convientently located. But perhaps the best part of the stay has been the wonderful customer service we have received from the front desk personnel. One in particular is Angel Lindee. She has been a dream to work with and has helped maintain 3 room schedules, for 4 weeks and been very helpful throughout the entire process.   • Overall I was very happy with the whole situation and look forward to the next time I can stay at this property!

    I have just finished a two month stay at the Mentor, Ohio property and would like to comment on my experience. The desk staff which was lead by Bonnie did a Fantastic job with reservations, paying rent, explaining charges and everything and anything else that was needed or asked of them. They were also very friendly with a good sense of humor. The housekeeping crew did a great job when ever they did my room. Over all I was Very happy with the whole situation and look forward to the next time I can stay at this property!

    “I decided to write this letter to show my appreciation to your Jacksonville management and staff for their outstanding commitment to excellence service.  In America today it is hard to find associates who are personally committed to customer service on a four stars level.  I have been a quest at your Extended Stay Establishment for over 8 months. I have received top notch service from day one from all members of the staff. 
    What I am impressed with the most is no matter what you’re needs or concerns are the staffs never pass the buck to someone.  The staff will assume the responsibility of getting my concerns address promptly. They have kept the building in excellent condition, removed bad influences from this location staffs and guests, and they treat all guests with empathy and respect. 
    The manager has shown her empathy personally on two occasions concerning the starting of my vehicle. If it were not for her personal commitment I would not have made it to two very important meetings.  Shirley the housekeeper is the best and I look forward to our chat of wisdom every other week.
    In closing, I have plans to move out within the next two months depending on my new career and location.  If I am in need of a temporary location in the future or know of someone who need a temporary resident. Your establishment will be the first place I recommend without a doubt.

  • Thank you for such a great place to stay when you are in a bind

    “This is the first time my wife and I have ever stayed at a ValuePlace establishment and we want you to know before I make any other statements that I spent 31-1/2 years in the military and I am a Master Gunney Sgt and as you know the Marine Corps is very strict on cleanliness, discipline and proficiency. Robert and his staff are very professional, proficient, and would make excellent Marines. As far as the hotel, it is immaculate. Every place I have been, the laundry room, the rest rooms, the hall ways, everywhere - the parking lot is also very clean which is a rarity and I don't know who the owner of this establishment is but from my travels, and I do travel alot, these people need a letter of commendation, a pay raise or a medal. At the very least take the out for the finest dinner you can afford. I have been here now almost 4 weeks because my RV is in the shop and if it ever breaks down again, I guarantee you one thing, I will definitely go to ValuePlace and stay as long as they are as clean as this place. Marine Corps language - you can eat off the floors. The people are some of the nicest, polite people I have met in the Hotel/Motel business. Thank you for such a great place to stay when you are in a bind.”

    “I had the pleasure of staying at the Value Place in Lincoln Nebraska. I would like to thank all the employees there Talmadge, Eddie, Damien, Bill, Anna, and Kay for all they have done for me well I stayed there. I stayed there during a management change and WOW what a different look this place has. The public areas look great and smell a lot better. Everything was clean and in the right place. Every one of the employees were always there when you need help or had a question to ask. They where always glad to help even if it was late at night for some clean towels or to make a new card because I forgot mine. Once again Thank You very much for everything you did while I was there. I will recommend the Value Place in Lincoln Nebraska to everyone that is heading your way to stay with you. You Guys are Awesome!!!!!!!”

  • because of my very positive experience at the Value Place location in Junction City, KS, I will most definitely be inclined to stay at another location & will also encourage others to do the same.

    When my son, who is a U.S.Soldier stationed at Fort Riley, was deploying to Iraq in August of 2009 I rented 2 rooms at the Junction City location. One for myself & one for my son & his fiance. Our stay there for the week was very enjoyable and the price was very affordable. We all 3 agreed it was great. The staff was friendly & very customer oriented. In May 2010 my son returned from Iraq, but a specific date was not provided. Knowing it was very short notice, I took a chance & contacted the JC Value Place to reserve 2 rooms for a week. I didn't know until 48 hours prior to my son's return what date he would arrive. I first spoke to Julia. She asked if she could call me back after she did some checking on availability. (I really liked this as opposed to being kept on "hold" while she checked.) Much to my delight, Julia called me back within an hour to let me know she had 2 rooms for me, non-smoking, and all of the paperwork would be ready when we arrived. I asked how she knew we wanted non-smoking and she stated that she looked up our previous reservation & utilized the information already in the system. Way to go Julia. This really impressed me. And believe me when I tell you it takes A LOT to impress me. On Saturday, May 22nd, my son's fiance & I headed out by car from Toledo for Junction City. We knew we wouldn't reach Junction City until about 8 p.m. Saturday night. During the drive, I received a call from Barbara confirming our reservations. She then told me she remembered us from our previous stay & went on to say how glad she was to hear my son was coming back to the states. I felt like I was talking with an old friend & probably kept her on the phone longer than I should have, but I really enjoyed our conversation. Still later in the day, Elena called to let me know that the house phone to call for assistance after hours was out of service for the moment, but assured me her cell phone number was posted & to call her when we arrived. Which is what I did. We didn't wait any longer than 2 or 3 minutes before Elena came down. Even though we had interrupted her evening, she was most welcoming with a beautiful smile & she too mentioned she remembered us from our last stay. How nice to be welcomed like this. And it was a pleasant surprise that she presented us with all of the forms all ready for my signature. Including the form of payment. (Barbara had done this to expedite our registration.) Throughout the week, each time we would see Julia, Barbara, or Elena, they each inquired as to how our stay was going; did we need anything; was there anything they could do for us. They each made sure to speak to my son & thank him for his service & welcome him home. This trio of ladies, I believe, exemplifies what customer service is all about and they should be commended for that. There are too many businesses out there today that make the consumer feel like they are doing you a favor by taking your money or just plain ignoring you. I have to say, because of my very positive experience at the Value Place location in Junction City, KS, I will most definitely be inclined to stay at another location & will also encourage others to do the same. Staff at other locations have very big shoes to fill. Thank you for allowing me to share a most pleasant experience & I hope management &/or corporate will do something to acknowledge what wonderful ambassidors Julia, Barbara & Elena are for Value Place.

    “I just wanted to let someone within this corporation what a great job some of your staff is doing for you.  I also work with the public and know what a difficult job that can be at times, and not everyone is good at it! This is my third week at one of your establishments and also my first time to ever stay at a "guest inn" so I'm VERY impressed with your staff, especially two of them.  I only know their names are Sonya and Billy. They go way out of their way to greet you and to say hello and ask how your doing. With life being as hard as it is....it's nice to feel good and cared about. I always see them both working alot whether it be security, helping a guest, or even picking up branches fallen in a storm!! They are truly consistent and are much appreciated by me.”

    I phoned in to make a reservation, and when I checked in I was pleased that everything was as described and there were no hidden fees. I was packing to leave this morning, Sunday, and of course it was raining, and I am disabled using a walker. Donna was at the front desk when I checked in. She saw me trying to get down the hall and asked if she could help. She took my bags and put them in the car for me. I tried to give her a tip which she refused and said it was her pleasure to assist. A million thanks to her and everyone there that made my stay special. I will return!
