We seek Area Managers now who can build the foundation for future planned growth. Selected candidates will possess prior multi-unit management, maintenance, or sales background. Our business model is much simpler than full service hotels; more closely aligned with property management. We seek those with a strong revenue management experience and proven ability to build AWR and Occupancy. Critical skills include management selection and training, cost control, local store marketing, and a focused commitment to achieve superior execution in operations, guest satisfaction, and employee development.
Our Area Managers supervise 5-7 locations. They recruit, select, orient, train, and manage a management staff with 40-60 total employees. Value Place operates with “fewer but better staff”, with 5 – 9 employees per hotel. Your primary focus is managing the growth of our revenue and profit in the market. Area Managers work a 60 hour, 5 ½ day work week. We pay all travel expenses, because overnight stays are routine. Area Managers need to be prepared to make marketing calls to area business because they are an important part of our growth. Our compensation package is superior, (average income $72-80,000) and our benefits are first class.
