In Time of Need

"We appreciate all of you."

My mother-in-law required more care than our local hospital could offer, so they flew her to Covenant in Lubbock, Texas. We drove up 110 miles one way. The first night we stayed in the ER waiting room. The next day we rented a motel room, about $80. I knew that wouldn't work. I then rented another motel for $56 and we stayed there three nights. We stayed at the hospital, using the room for clothes and showers. Day by day, we thought she was about to go home. By the time that third day at the motel was up, I knew we needed to rent by the week. I saw your motel from the Loop and we stayed almost four weeks with you. When you stay up all day and most of the night with a loved one, waking up every time a nurse came in, it's so nice to be able to leave that room and take a rest for a few hours. A shower also helped refresh my wife. Your people were nice to work with. The room was just fine and the price was right. We appreciate all of you.

Hi, I just wanted to send a note saying how wonderful Michelle and the staff are at the Value Place in Augusta, Georgia. I have been staying here since September 19th and there has NOT been a time that I have seen any one of them, that I wasn't greeted with a smile and or had doors opened for me. Michelle knows I am going through a very tough time right now,and she has gone out of her way to make time to not only just speak a casual greeting, but also to check and see how I am really doing! In my opinion, she has gone over and beyond her calling of duty here at Value Place. I have seen for myself Michelle personally cleaning up a room when needed too. Her staff, Dee, will also check in on me and ask if there is anything I need and tells me to let her know if there is something I need. This, in my opinion is someone who is dedicated and cares. The other day, I had forgotten I had a doctor's appointment and had just put a couple of blouses in the washer. I saw Philip and told him I was sorry that I would be tying up the washer longer than I should, he said for me not to worry. When I returned to my room, Philip had my blouses hanging on my clothes rack. What a special person. Anthony works the evening shift, and there have been several times he has seen me getting out of my vehicle with my arms full and he will run and open up the doors for me, even MY room door. How polite and caring is this! Connie cleans my room for me. She does a great job. She cleans everything from the microwave to the blinds and more. I am a 52 year old woman and I have worked with and around people all my life. I have stayed in many, many places, but I have never in my life seen a group of people so wonderful. Michelle has and is doing a remarkable job. She is a very dedicated and caring person who obviously takes pride in herself and in her job as it truly shows. As a guest here at Value Place, I am very fortunate to have found a place where I feel cared for and cared about. This is a very unique quality that you rarely find anywhere anymore. I hope you, the management and above, can and will appreciate the determination and hard work Michelle puts, not only into managing Value Place; but more importantly, representing Value Place. I am writing to express my sincere thanks to Value Place and the incredible staff at your Pharr, TX, property. My husband, 15 month old baby and I have been staying at your hotel for about three months while we are waiting to move into our new home. We are new to the Rio Grande Valley and are here because my husband’s employer relocated us. Both my husband and I are professionals and work for a major pharmaceutical company and a major advertising firm, respectively. We are very picky about where we stay, and, from top to bottom, Value Place is incredible! We’ve been in transition for quite some time now awaiting our new home’s completion. Prior to staying at Value Place, we were at a luxury, all-suites hotel. We thought we’d only be there for a month or so; however, those plans changed dramatically; thereby extending our completion date indefinitely. This news made us realize that we would be “homeless” for a much longer time than we had expected and had budgeted for. Luxury living was no longer an option for us, costing over $3,500 per month. We didn’t have a kitchen, so we were eating out for nearly every meal. We clearly needed to find an alternative situation. We considered renting a condo or apartment, but we didn’t want to lock into a lease or have to worry about setting up utility service, phone, cable, Internet, etc. Luckily for us, we found Value Place. We had noticed the Value Place digital sign and price from the main highway, but figured it would be a scary place. We were completely wrong! Right when we walked in the door, we knew Value Place was different. The property was sparkling clean, and the friendly staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. I was so pleased to see that the rooms had little kitchens (no more eating out!). It’s the first time in a long time that we’ve had the feeling of being at home (away from home). The hotel is immaculately clean and quiet, the rooms are homey and the staff is accommodating. We feel very safe being here with our baby because the property is secure. You need a key to get into the building, on the elevator, into the laundry room — everywhere. I often run errands or do laundry late in the evening, and I never feel scared. Unlike other hotels, you just don’t see people in the hallways that aren’t supposed to be there. Plus, Rosy, Orlando, Maggie and the other great staff really make an effort to get to know everyone. I’ve met a lot of other guests in the nice laundry area, and have found that many of the people staying here are just like us — families in transition and traveling professionals. We cannot say enough good things about Value Place. You’ve saved us a lot of money, and your new hotel concept has been perfect for our situation. We will definitely recommend you to all of our friends, family and professional contacts. You guys have a wonderful product and are a life-saver for people like us. Thank you, and kudos to the awesome staff in Pharr — they make Value Place great.

I am writing to express appreciation and gratitude for Tracy Massaline, Property manager at the Walter Reed Road, Fayetteville, NC location. I am a Social Worker who had a patient who resided in that facility for over two months with terminal lung and brain cancer. The patient did not have a supportive family unit to assist her with accommodations, and was therefore forced to live in an extended-stay facility. Ms. Massaline was exceptionally helpful in regards to assisting me in providing the best care possible for my patient. As a Social Worker in the health care field, I understand the importance of confidentiality and privacy. Without breaking any privacy or confidentiality policies, Ms. Massaline offered assistance to our staff who was attempting to provide the best possible care for our patient. Ms. Massaline exhibited exceptional public relation skills as well as a heartfelt compassion for her customer. While I have personally expressed my deepest gratitude to Ms. Massaline for her services, I felt the need to pass these comments on to the Corporate Offices as well. You have trained your employees to handle difficult situations and difficult clients - and they have been trained well. After working with your Fayetteville location, I would highly recommend your facility to anyone. While it is my prayer that none of my patients have the need to stay in one of your locations, it would be a delight to work with Tracy Massaline again.

Helpful and Accommodating

"The prices were excellent, and the staff and facilities were top notch."

My husband and I had the privilege of staying at the Value Place on I-35 and Scott Street in Del City, Oklahoma from Sept. 14 through October 28th. It wasn't the plan we had. We had sold our family home of 22 years and were waiting to close on our new home. This was to only be a two week stay but turned out to be much longer. We just wanted to let you know that while we experienced great difficulty in closing, we never had a worry or concern about our stay at Value Place. Your employees were extremely helpful and accommodating for us during this time. The facilities were clean and well-maintained and any request from management was immediately dealt with in a courteous manner. As people who have stayed in motels a great deal because of our jobs, your staff there is probably one of the best in professionalism. We highly recommend your establishment to our family, friends and co-workers as an excellent solution to temporary housing. The prices were excellent and the staff and facilities were top notch. Often times, upper management only hears complaints. We wanted you let you know that you have a great group representing this business on Scott Street. Thank you for your time.

We are staying at Value Place in Ocala, Florida. We were going though life changes and we needed to find a place that we could afford. A clean secure place for my family. There was no such place in Ocala, Florida until Value Place Opened up it's door. We were able to hold out for a couple of weeks until Value Place Ocala opened up. The Manager Mr. Gary Cross and his staff treats us like family. I thank God that we had The Value Place to go to. Now my wife and i have good jobs and we are getting ready to move into a two bedroom apartment to start our new lives. Thank you for being there for us.
